Our MCI JH-416 console began its journey at the world renowned FAME recording studios located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. FAME would become the epicenter of the "Muscle Shoals Sound".  This console left FAME in 1981 and made its way to our studio, Burns Sound.  

Over the years, many well-known musicians and performers have recorded at Burns Station Sound including Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe, Barbara Mandrell, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, Bear Bryant, The Jordanaires, Victor Wooten, Emmy Lou Harris, Bill Monroe, Willie Nelson, The Oakridge Boys, Joe Osborne, Johnny Paycheck, Gene Simmons, Ricky Skaggs, The Gatlin Brothers, Mel Tillis and many others.

Since 1981 Burns Sound has produced some incredible sounding recordings by using analog technology.  Today, we continue that tradition with the added bonus of digital options.
